THEMIS: a holistic view of dust and its evolution

The Heterogeneous dust Evolution Model for Interstellar Solids (THEMIS) aims to model interstellar dust and its evolution as a function of density and the local radiation field. In this seminar, I will try to show how we bring together laboratory measurements and sky observations to allow a global approach to the complex problem of dust modelling.
